Description
Students will learn to distinguish between a variety of headache types and learn a trigger point protocol for the treatment of tension headaches. Students will revisit the kinesiology of facial, cervical, and thoracic muscle groups that have a direct impact on headaches and learn how to complete a proper intake and follow-up that provides targeted results. Students will also learn muscle energy techniques that promote scapular and cervical mobility and leave ready to implement a full 60-minute treatment sequence. 15 specific techniques will be taught and repeated for maximum integration. 8 CEUs, $300, NCBTMB approval pending.
